Morning Mentors Service Program

Welcome to the Morning Mentors Service Program!

Are you a high school student gearing up for the Production Team or Showcase workshop? Are you on the hunt for community service learning hours to meet graduation requirements? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you – become a Morning Mentor!

Our volunteer program empowers you to take charge of a segment of the Arts Festival workshop, where you'll work with small groups of students in grades 1-6. In the morning, as a Morning Mentor, you'll guide teams of 20-25 students in crafting three short productions to be showcased at the Arts Festival. CTE faculty will provide guidance and mentoring throughout this hands-on experience.

But that's not all – in the afternoons, you'll get to attend your chosen workshop. As a Morning Mentor, you'll lead a daily Circle Group, incorporating fun games and reflective discussions, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

This unique opportunity allows you to not only contribute to the Arts Festival workshop but also make a meaningful impact on the lives of young students. It's a chance to share your skills, inspire the next generation of performing artists, and gain valuable experience in directing and leading a team.

The Morning Mentors Service Program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive experience, combining practical leadership skills with the opportunity to engage and facilitate the growth of younger students. Don't miss out on this incredible chance to become a Morning Mentor and make a lasting difference!

Registration opens on February 15th – we eagerly anticipate welcoming your student into our program this summer. Join us in shaping the future of the Arts Festival and leaving a positive impact on the lives of aspiring young artists!
