Inspire and Empower
A summer program offering fun and exciting workshops in theatre, dance, art, technical theatre and music, all culminating in age-appropriate stage productions at the end of our season.
Mission:
The mission of CTE is to collaborate with young people to create an environment of respect and compassion where they can discover for themselves their unique gifts and personal worth.
Acknowledgment of Grants Received
CTE is thrilled to announce that it is one of 60 local recipients of funding through Inspire Olympia. Inspire Olympia is a voter-approved initiative that dedicates a portion of Olympia’s sales tax to local nonprofit organizations offering arts, sciences, heritage, and cultural programs and experiences for the public in Olympia and the Olympia School District. This generous grant will enable us to continue rebuilding our summer theatre arts education program for the youth of Olympia.
CTE is gearing up for the 2025 season! See the calendar here.
Early bird registration will open Feb 14th 2025.

Land Use Acknowledgement
Creative Theatre Experience holds our summer program at South Puget Sound Community College. South Puget Sound sits on the traditional lands of the Medicine Creek Treaty Tribes, which include Squaxin Island and Nisqually Indian Tribes. The 1854 treaty ceding these lands is still in dispute. All who are not Salish peoples are visitors here. With this awareness, we pay respect to elders past and present of the Medicine Creek Treaty Tribes and all Native peoples.
