What is Creative Theatre Experience (CTE)?

Creative Theatre Experience (CTE) is a children’s summer camp and youth theater program based in Olympia, Washington.

CTE’s summer camp combines creativity, collaboration, and performance to help students build confidence and essential life skills. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade work together to create live theater productions while forming meaningful friendships and shared experiences.

Each CTE summer camp program culminates in 2–3 fully staged live performances on the main stage at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts.

 

What ages can attend the CTE summer camp?

CTE summer camp programs are open to students in grades K–12.

Camp groups are organized by age and experience level to ensure students receive appropriate instruction and opportunities for growth.

 

Does my child need theater experience to attend summer camp?

No experience is required.

What is the Mentor and Intern Program?
