A well known face in the South Pugest Sound theater scene, we welcome Courtnee back for her 2nd season with CTE!
Courtnee's Story
Courtnee Ramos is a multifaceted artist who thrives in collaborative and gritty environments whether she is performing, directing, or choreographing. After achieving a BFA in Theatre, Music, and Psychology from Utah Tech University, she has become a blossoming artist across the Washington theatre scene and a loyal face at Lakewood Playhouse.
You may have seen her appear as (Joanne/Dance Captain) in Godspell, (Lady in Blue/Dance Captain) in For Colored Girls…, (understudy for Percy Talbott/Assistant Director) in The Spitfire Grill, (Sour Kangaroo/Choreographer) for Seussical The Musical, and assistant director for the award-winning production of The Laramie Project. She has also taught classes and directed for youth programs at Creative Theatre Experience in Olympia, Lakewood Playhouse in Lakewood, Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center (T.U.P.A.C) in Tacoma, and Studio East in Kirkland, WA.
Known for her infectious energy and commitment to empathy, respect, and inclusivity for all, Courtnee strives to create art that resists white-supremacy theatre practices, uplifts marginalized voices, and actively creates change in our piece of the world!
