What is Production Team?
Production Team (PT) is a hands-on workshop where students learn the behind-the-scenes skills that make live theatre come to life. Students work with real tools, real equipment, and real production challenges while building confidence, focus, and creative problem-solving skills.

Students will support both Spotlight and Showcase
​
This program is active, engaging, and highly collaborative—perfect for students who enjoy building, designing, organizing, or want to be part of theatre in a non-performing role.
What Students Learn
Students receive guided instruction from experienced technical theatre mentors and professionals in areas such as:

Set design, building, and painting

Stage and shop safety, including supervised use of tools

Rigging and backstage systems

Theatre lighting and cue operation

Sound equipment setup and live mixing

Scenery changes and backstage crew communication
Students learn how to work safely, efficiently, and creatively as part of a technical theatre crew.
