What is Arts Festival?
Our CTE Arts Festival is a summer youth theatre camp in Olympia where students explore music, dance, acting, and visual art in a supportive, high-energy environment. Students learn core performing arts skills while building confidence, friendships, and a strong sense of community.
What Students Learn

Students rotate through daily sessions led by experienced mentors and professional instructors:

Music and vocal lessons

Dance and movement training

Acting, character work, and stage presence

Visual art and creative expression
​
Each small group is led by a CTE Mentor—an older student who once participated in CTE and is now growing into leadership and teaching roles.
Perform on a College Stage
​
The program concludes with two live performances at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts. Students gain the unforgettable experience of performing in a beautiful, professional theatre environment with full lighting, sound, and an excited audience of family and friends.
Childcare available before and after workshop
We offer childcare options from 8am to 9am and 3pm to 5pm
