CTE Summer Programs

Creative Theatre Experience offers programs for students of all ages and experience levels—whether they’re stepping onstage for the first time or joining the backstage crew to help make the magic happen.

Arts Festival

Grades K-5 · Current School Year

​

A high-energy arts workshop introducing students to music, dance, acting, and visual art. Students learn foundational theatre skills and perform in two live shows at the Minnaert Center.

Spotlight

Grades 5-12 · Current School Year


A welcoming, beginner-friendly program that introduces students to acting, scenework, and creative movement in a low-pressure, supportive environment. Culminates in a mainstage performance.

Showcase

Grades 5–12  · Current School Year


A full-scale musical theatre production where students rehearse and perform a two-act show on a college stage. Training includes vocals, acting, choreography, and ensemble performance.

Arts Festival Tech Team

Grades 5-7 · Current School Year

Backstage crew training supporting the Arts Festival performances. Students learn prop handling, basic lighting and sound, backstage organization, communication, and smooth scene transitions.

Production Team:

Showcase/Spotlight

Grades 8-12 · Current School Year

​

Behind-the-scenes training in set building, painting, stage safety, lighting, sound, rigging, and backstage crew operations. PT members run all technical elements of Showcase and Spotlight performances.

Intern/Mentor Program

​

CTE will offer both paid internships and volunteer Mentor roles again in 2027.

CTE After School Program

Elementary and Middle School


CTE offers a variety of after-school programs that take place on school grounds. We bring programs as small as 2-day workshops and as large as full scale musical productions.
