Paul is back at CTE after a 2 year hiatus!

Paul's Story

Paul Purvine is a New York City based designer, director, actor, and technician. He is a graduate of The Evergreen State College with an emphasis in Theater and Education and is currently a middle school teacher at The Center School (MS 243) in Manhattan. Paul is pleased to return to CTE. Prior to this season he has worked at CTE in nearly every capacity starting as a student in 1997, then Intern, Technical Director, Tyro Program Director, and Showcase Workshop Director for 13 seasons.

Local credits include work with Harlequin Productions, Capital Playhouse, Olympia Family Theater, Olympia Little Theater, and Theater Artists Olympia. New York credits include Three-Headed Lion, Pop Culture Fondue, Brain Melt Consortium, Shotz!, and the last nine seasons as a producer for Paper Kraine—a monthly new works and variety show established to create opportunities for developmental work while fundraising for worthwhile charities. www.paperkraine.com www.paulpurvine.co
